About
Ten minutes that kept getting postponed
Sreeja is a sole proprietorship based in Hyderabad, Telangana, operating online as Pelaris Junction (pelarisjunction.shop).
How this started
Ten minutes a day is not a lot, and it still got postponed for the better part of two years. Every app wanted a subscription, every book seemed to be written for somebody with a retreat booked, and the one physical object that finally helped was almost an accident: a small lamp that breathes in and out and gives you something to follow when your mind will not settle.
That is a narrow, practical realisation and it is the whole basis of this shop — a short shelf of books that assume you are busy, and lights that do one thing without asking you to sign up for anything.
The hardest part is not the sitting. It is starting on a day when you do not want to.
Our commitment
Books read before they are listed
We do not stock a title we have not read. The listing says who it suits and, more usefully, who it does not.
No spiritual promises
Nothing here fixes anxiety, cures anything or changes your life. It gives you something to practise with.
No subscription, ever
You buy an object once. There is no app, no account and no recurring charge behind any of it.
Our story
The shelf stays short because a meditation shop can very easily become a shop that sells the idea of meditating. We would rather stock eight books somebody has actually finished than eighty that photograph well.
Where a title leans on claims we cannot support, we say so in the listing rather than repeating the back cover. Where a lamp is simply a nice object with a slow LED, we say that too.
Online only
There is no showroom and no walk-in counter. Pelaris Junction trades entirely online and ships across India from Hyderabad, Telangana, which keeps overheads off the price of the goods.
